Ensembles
If you don't already play or sing in one, why not? They are fun! There are ensembles for most instruments and standards. They only cost £20 per term and the first term is free! Orchestra is a free class.

Woodwind 09:30 Grades 3 – 7 Junior Woodwind 10:30 Grades 1 – 4 Jazz 12:15 Grade 4 – 8 Recorders 11:15 Grade 3 – 6 Junior Brass 09:30 Grade 1 – 3 Orchestra 10:30 various Junior Strings 10:00 up to grade 3 String Ensemble 11:15 grades 3 – 6 Singing 11:45 age 8 – 14 Chamber Music various various Ensembles are also open to parents and children who do not learn at QYMC.
The QYMC Orchestra
Orchestra is a free class and welcomes players from QYMC and those who have their instrumental lessons elsewhere. Parents can also join the orchestra to help brush up rusty instrumental skills! The orchestra is now conducted by Paul Campbell and plays a wide variety of music. Rehearsals are in the Hall at 10:30 each Saturday. Different mimimum standards are required from different instruments - please contact us if you'd like to enquire about joining.
